The SRA Standards and Regulations 2019 permit freelance solicitors to provide both reserved and non-reserved legal services directly to clients with and without professional indemnity insurance respectively. I have listed below those non-reserved legal services that I provided directly to you.

The following legal services (all non-reserved) are provided by me: -

​

1. drafting, and advising on, the terms of commercial and business contracts, employment documentation including a contract of employment and staff handbook; and

2. drafting a simple will; and

3. assisting and advising on non-contentious divorce and financial settlement matters including drafting your divorce petition and financial consent order; and

4. administering an oath; and

5. certifying documents and verifying IDs; and

6. drafting statutory declaration and affidavit; and

7. advising on the terms of the guarantee; and

8. drafting loan agreement and simple security documentation including guarantee and legal charge; and

9. assisting and advising on divorce and financial remedies on divorce matters;

10. I am Level 1 OISC accredited Immigration lawyer (see home page).

For the above-listed services, I do not have professional indemnity insurance in place for the provision of the no-reserved legal services. You may be barred from making claims against the Compensation Fund if there is a problem with your legal matter. (I do have insurance for the Immigration Advice as is required by the OISC)

I do not hold client money. Therefore, I do not provide services that involve the holding of client money or checking anti-money laundering regulations.
